Raaaaaargh. Just 2 more weeks until I am finally done for the summer. I say it cannot come too soon! Not so much because I want to get out and enjoy the lovely weather (what lovely weather?) but because I am so very tired. I'll have about two terms to finish my course, so yes, a break to reassess things would be nice. And to rewrite my personal statement, because my last two were pants.

I started writing this weekend. I don't know whether it'll fade out again but I have a rough plan, and it's more solid than it has been for ages, so I'm just going to go with the flow. Kind of mannerpunk with an eastern touch, although not much like what that would immediately bring to mind so stop thinking about the Feist and Wurts 'Empire' trilogy. It's very good but it's nothing like what I'm doing, thank goodness. I'm not going to post it up here because I actually have hopes for it (or at least think that anything is possible and am rather more careful about deviantart as a forum for writing now since you cannot properly delete submissions for good - at least, you couldn't when I last checked which was a while ago, granted).
If that last sentence killed you dead, I apologise.
